Hometown Heroes, this group of kids have been performing since their sophomore year of high school. Formed when best friends lead singer and bassist got the idea to form a band, the other two were shortly added and the band started playing local talent shows and local venues. They were quickly snatched up by a smaller local label, but found out that it wasn't all it was hyped up to be. Creative control was an issue, and the band found itself being pushed in a direction that compromised what they stood for, and the music they wanted to play. When approached by the owner of this new label, they all agreed to let their contract run out with Sticky Fingers Records and signed with Live Free Records. They quickly formed a tight bond with Playing Favorites and its safe to say there is definite bromance between these two bands. This band is back in LA from a world tour with Us Against The End and Love Games, and due to release their new album in late January. Escaping Neverland is up for awards including: Best Music Video (for Damned If I Do Ya (Damned If I Dont), Best Live Band and Single Of The Year (for Get Down On Your Knees And Tell Me You Love Me).
